Where we work
Our focus is on how you work, not where you work. We’re a remote-first, or “boundaryless,” company. We support our team in doing their best work wherever they’re most productive and have team members across North America, in Europe, and the UK.
How we work
We hire critical thinkers. Together, we tackle complex problems and innovate the best solutions for our customers. At the heart of our culture is our values – they guide our decisions, the way we work, and the way we treat each other.
Our highest priority is to satisfy our customers through the early, continuous delivery of valuable software & solutions. We take time to understand our customers' problems so we can solve them in the most impactful way.
We follow through on our commitments. We're transparent in our work and do not hesitate to ask for, or to offer help. We're direct and respectful in our communication - caring enough about each other to tackle the tough conversations head-on.
We own the challenge, the solution and the outcome. We don’t wait for others to tell us what to do, or how to do it, and are relentless in the pursuit of our goals.
We believe in a growth mindset and strive for excellence, not perfection. We recognize there is always room for improvement and continuously seek feedback on how we can be better - both as individuals and as a business.
Experiment & iterate
We push the boundaries of what's possible by continually experimenting with ways to drive better, faster results for our business. We're not afraid to fail, instead we learn from it.

Together – even from afar
At ZenHub, our people are what make us special. We have lots of opportunities for connection, whether it be a games night, teaching each other new skills over hangouts (pierogi making anyone?), connecting over coffee, or during one of our company All Hands.
Space to collaborate
Once it’s safe to do so, use our Vancouver collaboration space to find a quiet spot to work, socialize, or kick off a project with your team. Our space is dog-friendly, welcoming of children, and crafted for comfort.
We start by reviewing your resume, cover letter, and relevant links. We’re curious about you, so be sure to include information that showcases your skills and interests, such as your LinkedIn or GitHub profile, portfolio, or website.
Chat with us
We’ll email you to schedule a meeting. Tell us what you’re passionate about, your accomplishments, and the kind of challenges you’re looking for. We want to know the depth of your knowledge as it relates to the role. If there's a fit, you'll be scheduled for a chat with a hiring manager.
Show us what you got
We may ask to see samples of your work. Depending on the position you’re applying for, these can be writing, code, or design samples. There might also be a take home assignment to help us understand if we’re a match.
Meet the team
Collaboration, feedback, and discussion are key to succeeding at ZenHub. We may invite you for a working session with other team members to see if we all work well together. After interviewing with a few team members (and likely our founder as well), we’ll review everyone’s feedback before requesting references. Depending on the role, we may invite you for multiple interviews to make sure we’re a fit.
